Founded in 1953, First AutoWorks (FAW) is one of the world’s longest-established commercial-vehicle manufacturers.
Today, FAW produces heavy-duty trucks for customers in more than 100 countries, integrating proven global components with FAW powertrain expertise and modern manufacturing.

The significant progress of FAW over the years stems from the growing trust and loyalty of our customers, all over the world.
Over the next year, FAW is rolling out a full fleet of light- to heavy-weight truck categories, starting with the J7 – which represents our latest long-haul platform – combining efficient engines, lightweight high-strength chassis design and a driver-centric cab.
For Australia, we focus on reliability, fuel economy and safety, validated through local testing and dealer feedback.
We’re building an Australian support network anchored by a Melbourne parts warehouse and a growing roster of trained dealers.
